Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Energy Consulting Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing energy efficiency and energy audit projects across various industrial and commercial sectors. Key responsibilities include:
- Executing energy efficiency/energy audit projects.
- Identifying and developing energy efficiency solutions based on comprehensive studies.
- Selecting vendors for reliable and profitable project execution.
- Developing project schedules and planning resource allocation to ensure timely completion.
- Verifying actual energy savings as per the International Performance Measurement & Verification Protocol (IPMVP).
- Converting energy assessment studies into Retrofit/Turnkey projects.
- Supporting the sales/business development team in submitting offers/bids.
- Training the sales team on energy efficiency practices.
Skills Required
Technical Expertise: Proficient in evaluating energy efficiency of boilers, furnaces, turbines, compressors, pumps, heat exchangers, HVAC systems, fans, blowers, electric motors, and conducting energy audits of process and utility plants.
Analytical Abilities: Strong technical and analytical skills with an aptitude for problem-solving.
Experience: Preferably experienced in performance evaluation/analysis, operation, and maintenance within the power generation sector or large energy-intensive industries.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective networking and collaboration.
Additional Skills: Knowledge of modeling, simulation, and optimization tools is an added advantage.
Experience & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: Relevant experience in energy efficiency evaluation and audits.
