Ohm’s Law Calculator

Ohm’s Law Calculator

Please provide any 2 values and click “Calculate” to get the other values using the formulas V = I × R and P = V × I.

The Ohm’s Law Calculator is a simple and handy tool to calculate Voltage, Current, Resistance or Power in an electrical circuit. Just enter any two values and it will figure out the missing one for you in seconds:

Ohm’s Law Formula

What is Ohm’s Law?

Ohm’s Law explains the relationship between Voltage (V), Current (I) and Resistance (R) in an electrical circuit. The formulas are :

  • Voltage (V) = Current (I) × Resistance (R)
  • Current (I) = Voltage (V) ÷ Resistance (R)
  • Resistance (R) = Voltage (V) ÷ Current (I)

Additionally, you can calculate Power (P) using these formulas :

  • Power (P) = Voltage (V) × Current (I)

How to Use

  1. Enter two known values (like Voltage and Current) into the input fields.
  2. Choose the value you want to calculate from the dropdown.
  3. Hit Calculate and the result will appear instantly.
  4. Want to try again? Just click Clear to reset everything.

This tool is perfect for students, engineers or anyone working with electrical circuits. It saves time and avoids mistakes by doing the math for you.
